Notes From The Kitchen Table -Louise’s Patchwork Quilts (made using Notes From the Kitchen Table’s Tutorial)

I love it when my blog readers show me what they’ve made from using my tutorials so much so I’m now going to share the photos I’m sent as this may inspire more people to get making!

Here’s what Louise said:

‘Hi Emma i just wanted to show you what I have made with the help of your tutorials. This is the first large quilt I have ever made and only recently made my very first quilt for my sons bed also with your tutorials. My mams friends asked me to make her one and I decided to jump in at the deep end, its been a learning curve but completed it all myself without any help from my mother in-law who has made them for a lot of years. Just wanted to say thank you for giving me the courage to try something new and out of my comfort zone.

 Thanks again Louise xxx’

All I can say is that I love my job!

Here’s Louise’s gorgeous quilts

I love the colours on this patchwork and I really like the way that Louise has customised the tutorial and made her own design.

Here’s her jellyroll quilt.

Isn’t this a fab little boys quilt! This will be cherished long after the Thomas the Tank Engine poster is taken down. I bet Louise’s little chap loves his quilt his Mummy made x

If you’re inspired and would like to make your own quilt have a look at my tutorial. It’s a step by step guide to making your own patchwork quilt with full instructions and colour photos. There are 6 parts and once you’ve finished with part 1, click on the link at the end and you can find part 2.

Have fun making memories.
